Luwam Wolana, has been a phenomenal support for my mental health. They are caring and always put the patient first. After seeing many different psychiatric professionals over the years, Luwam has definitely been the best!

I am not thrilled with my physician at this point. She speaks very fast and doesn’t listen very well to what I am trying to tell her. We spend a lot of time trying for her to understand what I am saying because she doesn’t let me finish my sentence. She seems rushed. I think I would do better with a therapist. I really need someone to talk with and vent my thoughts. I also need to see someone more frequently than monthly. I don’t want to hurt her feelings or get her in any trouble with her job, but we’re just not a right fit. Can you help me?

Great first appointment. I didn't get my meeting link for my call, but I called the office at 730am and they solved my problem quickly and my session went great.

I have been seeing my psychiatrist from Bloom Health for a bit over five years. These have been turbulent years that included the pandemic, civil unrest, incredible job and personal stress and now retirement. THANK GOODNESS for the services and support that I have received from my psychiatrist. She is an excellent listener and gets to the heart of the matter in order to prescribe the best solution. She is patient and able to detect if something doesn’t make sense, even if I don’t realize it myself. I am now retired and I am adjusting well with her support.

I am writing this review with deep disappointment and serious concerns about the level of care and unprofessionalism I experienced at Bloom Health TMS Center in Rockville, MD. My biggest concern, and the reason I cannot recommend this center, is the apparent lack of on-site medical doctors qualified to make medical decisions regarding potential adverse reactions to TMS. This is a significant red flag for patient safety. When I appeared to be experiencing an adverse reaction to the TMS treatment, treatment halted and I was later informed that my primary care provider would have to determine whether the reaction was not related to the TMS treatment. This is completely unacceptable. It seems Bloom Health is trying to avoid liability by pushing the responsibility for TMS-related medical decisions, especially those concerning potential adverse reactions, onto primary care doctors who may have limited to no knowledge of this specialized treatment. My PCP, for example, has no expertise in TMS and wasn't able to make the medical decision regards to the TMS treatment. My TMS treatment couldn't continue. This delegation of medical responsibility is unprofessional and, in my opinion, raises serious ethical concerns. This lack of on-site medical oversight and the unprofessional delegation of medical decision-making authority, particularly in the face of a potential adverse reaction, has completely eroded my confidence in the treatment. I strongly advise anyone considering TMS therapy to look elsewhere. Patient safety should be the top priority, and in my experience, Bloom Health falls far short of this standard. And Nobody should be denied treatment based on potential adverse reactions to the treatment. Do your research and choose a provider with qualified medical staff readily available to address any potential complications. My experience at Bloom Health has been deeply unsettling, and I would not want anyone else to go through the same thing.
