Frequently asked questions

Question 1

Does Edison Behavioral TMS Center offer Deep TMS?

Accepted Answer

This listing does not currently show Deep TMS among Edison Behavioral TMS Center's listed services. Protocols change, so call the clinic to confirm what it offers and which protocol it would use for you.

Question 2

Does Edison Behavioral TMS Center take my insurance?

Accepted Answer

Coverage depends on your plan, not the clinic's listing. Most commercial insurers, Medicare, and many Medicare Advantage plans cover TMS for major depressive disorder when prior treatments haven't worked. Confirm with both Edison Behavioral TMS Center and your insurer before you book, and ask whether prior authorisation is needed.

Question 3

Is Edison Behavioral TMS Center accepting new patients?

Accepted Answer

Hours and availability change. Call Edison Behavioral TMS Center to ask whether they are taking new patients and how soon a first appointment is available. A listing on this page is not a guarantee they can see you this week.

Question 4

What are the opening hours at Edison Behavioral TMS Center?

Accepted Answer

Listed hours at Edison Behavioral TMS Center are Mon–Fri 9:30 – 6 PM · Sat–Sun 10 AM – 12 PM. Hours can change around holidays, so confirm with the clinic before you travel.

Question 5

How much does TMS cost at Edison Behavioral TMS Center?

Accepted Answer

Clinics in Edison generally quote $230 to $400 a session, and a full course runs 30 to 36 sessions. With insurance most people pay a specialist copay per visit instead. Ask Edison Behavioral TMS Center for the per-session rate and the total course estimate in writing before you start — the cash price and the authorised price are very different numbers.
