Frequently asked questions

Question 1

Does Desert Sands Aesthetics and Laser offer Deep TMS?

Accepted Answer

This listing does not currently show Deep TMS. It does list ExoMind. Protocols change, so call Desert Sands Aesthetics and Laser to confirm what it offers and which protocol it would use for you.

Question 2

Does Desert Sands Aesthetics and Laser take my insurance?

Accepted Answer

Coverage depends on your plan, not the clinic's listing. Most commercial insurers, Medicare, and many Medicare Advantage plans cover TMS for major depressive disorder when prior treatments haven't worked. Confirm with both Desert Sands Aesthetics and Laser and your insurer before you book, and ask whether prior authorisation is needed.

Question 3

Is Desert Sands Aesthetics and Laser accepting new patients?

Accepted Answer

Hours and availability change. Call Desert Sands Aesthetics and Laser to ask whether they are taking new patients and how soon a first appointment is available. A listing on this page is not a guarantee they can see you this week.

Question 4

What are the opening hours at Desert Sands Aesthetics and Laser?

Accepted Answer

Listed hours at Desert Sands Aesthetics and Laser are Mon–Thu 9 AM – 5 PM · Fri–Sun closed. Hours can change around holidays, so confirm with the clinic before you travel.

Question 5

How much does TMS cost at Desert Sands Aesthetics and Laser?

Accepted Answer

Clinics in St. George generally quote $230 to $400 a session, and a full course runs 30 to 36 sessions. With insurance most people pay a specialist copay per visit instead. Ask Desert Sands Aesthetics and Laser for the per-session rate and the total course estimate in writing before you start — the cash price and the authorised price are very different numbers.
