  I chose Dr. Strunk from a referral from my primary doctor due to I have a family member that has been going there for a few years as well as friends that see him. I have COPD with Emphysema with my upper lung lobes non functioning, I have a collapsed right middle lobe (atelectasis) & the left side of lungs has collapsed three times within this year. I’ve been an RN for 25 years & shortness of breath & anxiety go hand in hand. You don’t have one symptom without the other. I was a hospice nurse for 15 years & saw these symptoms all the time. I developed really bad anxiety with my breathing issues. So I chose Dr. Strunk as my doctor to help with the anxiety. First visit went well and he prescribed medication that helped. Second visit medication dose decreased without telling me, didn’t know why & when medication wasn’t at my pharmacy I called his office and got the nurse line. She told me that doctor decreased medication b/c SHE pointed out to him I was on a pain patch & taking pain medication by mouth & that’s the reason. I informed her I had not taken any pain medication by mouth in months & the doctor knew about pain patch from 1st visit we had. She talked to me so hateful, rude & sooooooooo unprofessional!!! Out of my 25 years of nursing I would not dare speak to a patient, their family members or caregivers the way she spoke to me. It was crystal clear she does not need to be a phone nurse, if she is even a nurse, she should not answer the phone at any doctors office!! Very RUDE!!! I just spoke very kind to her which I’m sure made her mad. The next visit was on an iPad while doctor was driving. Then I guess it was my last visit there was a medication change. That visit was on a Monday & nothing sent in to pharmacy until Friday when I called his office. The nurse stated she would send it in. Which the medication he changed, the one that was discontinued was sent in. I had to call his office back and explain new medication wasn’t sent in the old one was. So pharmacy doesn’t have “my anxiety medication “. The one I need the most for my symptoms! I called and left voicemail about why was everything else sent in but the other one wasn’t. No one has had the decency to call me back! To top it all off I get a letter in the mail from Dr. Strunk stating he has discharged me and for me to find another physician ASAP for my medical issues. WOW is all I could say. The letter was dated the 5th when I was there for appointment why couldn’t he tell me that in person while I’m there? Mailed out on the 8th. I couldn’t lay my head down at night knowing I did somebody like that. I know I’m not the only one he’s done this way b/c I’ve read the reviews from others. So I had to hurry & fine another physician b/c my main anxiety med was due to be filled. My COPD has advanced to severe stage, I wear oxygen continuously, do inhalers, breathing treatments and use a NIV Machine (Non invasive ventilatory machine) I use the NIV every night to sleep in & when I’m severely short of breath. I am signing up with Palliative Care this week & will transition into Hospice when that time comes. I just hope & pray Dr. Strunk doesn’t treat any other patients like he’s treated me!!!!!!

  “dr.” strunk is an embarrassment. 3/4 appointments i had with him, he was on an ipad. not a telehealth appointment but in person he had his staff bring him in on facetime on an ipad. he was literally driving on one occasion, not a care in the world. after waiting forever, he would talk (sounding very annoyed) for maybe five minutes and that’s that. on my first appointment, he started me on medication that actually helped and i was giving him positive feedback. after getting bloodwork done, my levels showed “too low” despite taking the medication regularly and correctly. instead of talking to me or trying to find out if there was a reason behind why my levels were still low, he accused me of not taking the medication right and said he would not prescribe it anymore. i told him this is the first time i’ve felt better and noticed change and i WAS taking it right. he proceeded to call me a liar, all while on an ipad. it was so unprofessional and i did not return after that. turns out i just needed the dose upped! and the office is a mess! there are so many better options in the wiregrass. please don’t waste your time here.

  We love them my son goes back for his 2nd appointment next Thursday and they put his adhd medicine which has helped a bunch with school and hoping they do start giving him his sleeping medicine so we can only go to them! There always so nice and always willing to help we love them

  After seeing this dr. One time he prescribed medication to my wife completely unrelated to her symptoms and after one month and a complete personality change she surprised me with divorce papers she never mentioned anything about. We were married 15 years and together for 22 I think I would no if she suffered from any of the symptoms the medication you gave her it’s not hard to find what any type of prescription is for she told me you were in the room for about 5 minutes when you prescribed her a pill that completely changed her personality thanks doc keep up the good work

  I appreciated how the doctor took the time to listen carefully and answer all my questions. The friendly environment and personalized treatment plans really stood out. This level of care gave me confidence in managing my heart health.
