This was my first Visit to Crestwood Hospital. I wasn’t sure where the entrance to the hospital was so we ended up walking through the whole hospital to get to the admission desk. There wasn’t enough seating for those who were waiting for procedures and the wait was about 30 minutes. Outside of that the nurses were wonderful. They put my IV in very gently and help me get ready for my procedure With kindness. The procedure went perfectly and they were there to help after it was all over.. I’m very grateful to them for their kindness, dedication and professionalism. I would recommend. Crestwood Hospital for outpatient procedures. Their staff is very knowledgeable and experienced. They made the process go very smoothly and I thank them.

This spring, my life presented me a challenge involving multiple ER visits and operations, the most recent involving an 8-day stay. At every stage of the process, I felt safe and cared for. The staff that were present each showed the highest levels of respect and kindness, for which I am most appreciative. The 5 stars is for them, since it must be an insane job in this field, and I want people to know that in coming here, you will hopefully feel more at ease with whatever you are dealing with. For Crestwood itself, I’d give the facility a 4-star rating. Even with the great staff mentioned above, one flaw I had noticed was a lack of connection regarding information. Several times I had to correct some aspects of my care myself purely because the info from the doctor was not passed or relayed to important areas (eg. diet restrictions, medicine recommendations, treatment options, etc.). Making it so the patient needs to notice if certain info is being passed on leaves a potential for issues to arise (or go unnoticed). Besides this observation, I felt that Crestwood had the supplies and resources to help me with my issues, and felt comfortable with repeat visits knowing I would be in good hands. Let’s just hope they got my last surgical diagnosis correct. I may feel quite cared for here, but I’d prefer not to have to come back for anything for a long long time.

I do not want to comment on my outpatient procedure and let other people know how GOOD everyone and the facility was. Then more and more people would be coming. Well unless Crestwood can expand with doctors and facilities, the demand already is greater than the supply is. I had great Service and everything ran on schedule per my results. No complaints, my Nurse was Great and everyone on staff was efficient, professional and friendly. I Highly Recommend Crestwood Cardiac related equipment and staff. I just hope it stays like it is now with the service and expands as new customers start coming here. If not it will become another hospital with too many patients and Needs that cause 2-4 hours wait time no matter what the issue. Thanks to my doctor and surgeon Dr Katta and Dr Makemson, my condition is much better and I am Thankful to God and the things he can do through the hands of care givers. Thankful for Crestwood.

Beware of arrogant doctors and administration that want to free up a bed. I am elderly man, I waited 12 hours in the ER before being admitted to my room. While in ER, I was unable to get out of bed and no one came to help when called, so I wet myself. Leaving the ER, I Stayed in the hospital for one week. The room attendants were attentive and respectful. I had a problem swallowing and was placed on a liquid diet. They are not supposed to discharge when on a liquid diet, so after supper on the last day, they upgraded the diet without even checking to see if I was able to eat a meal. I was discharged to rehab 3 hours later. Since it was so late and the upgraded diet was untested I tried to convince them to wait until morning to discharge. I tried to explain my concerns with the upgraded diet and that at this hour the rehab would not have time to review the plan of care. Even called the hospital advocacy. A lot of good that did, all they say is doctors call. Arrived at rehab at 10pm and the night staff had no idea I was coming and no knowledge I had issues swallowing. After a few days at rehab, I then found out the hospital doctor in his wisdom modified my heart medication without even consulting my cardiologist or notifying myself. What do patients do if they have no one to look out for their care at the ER and hospital.

I was taken to Crestwood ER with a broken hip in July 2025. I had foolishly waited a day before treatment. The ER staff was wonderful. My ER doctor managed my pain meds expertly. My nurse Justina gave me expert attention (and a good bbq sandwich when surgery was delayed). They had the best hip specialist from Sportsmed Dr Raley perform the total hip replacement surgery which was successful. And my anesthesiologist was excellent too. The nurses on the orthopedic ward were generally fantastic which was hard to do after the high bar Justina set in the ER. The Occupational Therapists were superb. I highly recommend.
