This was my second time at the rodeo, but my first time here. The staff is amazing. They are so caring, funny, and a joy to be around. They helped me talk through my issues. They helped me learn better coping skills. I was only there for a few days. Those few days have been light changing ✨️

Very poor protocols for offering mental health. I was being told that my cannabis use was the cause of all of my problems. This psychopath "doctor" specifically stated that even my legal problems were the cause! Apparently her interpretation of my 7 years in an abusive marriage and my husband withholding resources after i filed for divorce has nothing to do with it. She INSISTED it was all because my mother gifts me with a an ounce of cannabis shake once a month. APPARENTLY, my mother's $40 purchase is the reason that I cant pay my $2k mortgage, and nothing to do with my husband draining my debit, savings and health savings accounts. I understand that you need your patients to admit their problem to process them. Yet, in order to figure out the issue, you need to shut your mouth and listen. Mental health is more than talking over someone until they repeat your quotes back to you. When it comes to mandated patients, im sure the extent of your "help" is to have them state that they are whatever they are mandated to be there for. Mental health goes deeper than a single habit. Yet you use a protocol to force them to confess untruths to process them, bc if they dont "confess," they dont get processed. A process most likely required to resolve any legal issues. Its a subtle a coercion, but coercion just the same. A cheating copout system when it comes to an institution that has the words Mental Health. You just collect money from the state to process ppl out, and have no interest in actually HELPING with MENTAL HEALTH. Sorry that i expected you to actually do your job. On a good note, my initial entry was warm, welcoming and understanding. Every single individual during intake was impeccable, it was only the "psychologist" that needs to do some self reflecting and receive additional training prior to being allowed near any more vulnerable adults. My prayers go out to those mandated to get "help" from this establishment.

My therapist changed constantly, and I would have to repeat my very sensitive life story over and over again to new people seemingly every other month. Don't waste your time. Talk to your mom instead.
