This is the first psychiatrist I’ve actively worked with/receiving medication for probable inattentive type of ADHD, and with severe insomnia issues:needing to be careful in light of already receiving a lot of prescription meds via other doctors, due to having multiple physical disorders and mental disorders. He is very, very attentive, communicative and sensitive to my many questions and concerns. When an issue crops up between appointments Dr. Cozart has miraculously had the time to call me back same day, and efficiently work out adjustments until we are both satisfied. I’ve consulted with numerous psychiatrists at this clinic over the past twenty years-he has been the first experience of really working with a psychiatrist and I feel very secure. He is cautious oriented-he doesn’t just throw medications and ill-formed diagnosis at you like other psychiatrists-and I like that. He is also quite methodical about explaining the groups of medications, how each form works, what to take together and what not. So far my experience has been nothing less than successful. I wish all doctors would explain their reasoning as much as Dr. Kozart. Huge thumbs up.
