The staff was all wonderful and I can't say enough good things about them HOWEVER, I went through the full bilateral treatment course and did not experience ANY improvement - and I had negative side effects the entire time like crippling fatigue and insomnia. The treatments completely destroyed my sleep schedule. just be aware this does not work for everyone and has side effects

My experience with Southern California TMS was Awesome! Brenda, Annie, Alex and Skylar took care of all my needs so that I was comfortable during the treatments. Dr. Goldberg knew what I was thinking and feeling, even before I told him. He understands how depression works and explained in layman's terms what is going on in the mind of someone who has depression. He listened to me and my wife and answered any questions that we had. I would gladly give them 10 stars, but I have been limited to 5!

I was familiar with TMS because I’d witness it save the life of someone I love. I expected the treatment to lift my depression. I knew that the experience would be safe, painless, and I was fully prepared for the duration of the course. What I didn’t anticipate, was full remission. It feels like the fog has cleared, the weights untethered, and I feel trust in my ability to navigate the natural ups and downs of life. I saw a brain scan of a depressed brain vs a not depressed brain. The depressed brain had entire regions dormant. The not depressed brain was full of activity. That’s how I would describe my mental state: all regions working in harmony. I used to dread going to sleep because it meant another day was coming. Now I look forward to what each day might bring. I feel like myself again. Something I hadn’t felt in almost two decades. My memory has improved, I’ve finished a project that I’d let gather dust, I’ve reconnected with friends, I’ve started new habits. It used to feel like nothing was possible, and I couldn’t see the point of trying. I now feel like anything is possible, and I see the value of trying, for it’s own sake. Dr. Poole, Dr. Goldberg, and the entire team are kind, patient, intelligent, and experienced. I can’t promise my level of results, but my TMS experience has exceeded my expectations, and you may find the same to be true for you. Hang in there!!!
