Just when you thought behavioral health services couldn’t get worse in this county, along comes anchor health. I self-referred and went through an hour-long intake interview FOR NO APPARENT REASON. After sharing personal, traumatic information in hopes of being paired with an appropriate counselor, AH completely dropped the ball. Weeks passed with no follow-through and no communication. You took a person in need who did all the things I was supposed to do, and you managed to make it worse. It is beyond unethical to collect private health information under the auspices of linking patient to services, and then completely drop the ball. My needs were great enough that the intake counselor was working to link me to a case manager who would help me maneuver through filing for disability. Apparently, those needs don’t even warrant a return phone call. I’ve paid property taxes in to this disastrous system for over 25-years and cannot even get the most basic of services in return. IN-TAKE COUNSELORS…be mindful of your licensing while contracting with AH. Their ineptitude could abs put your certification in jeopardy.

I was going through a super hard time in my life when I was referred to this place. The customer service of the actual people in the building was horrible they didn’t greet me say hello nothing it was as if I was a burden to them to be there. Luckily the psychiatrist I Skyped through the computer was worth it she was so friendly and really helped me through my experience. I went twice and I really wanted to meet with the psychiatrist coming to the office that I could meet me in person but after dealing with the workers there I felt so uncomfortable that I just walked out and don’t ever plan on going back! Luckily I’m doing better but I feel sad for people who are really struggling and need the help and get treated like that!

Here's a good one. So Dr. Goodwin goes on vacation with no notice. So I go a whole week without my meds. It sucks to rely on this place if you need medication. In other words the employees here don't give a
