  I used Mind Springs for several years. Nearly every person I dealt with there was pleasant - I didn't experience the outright rudeness that many other clients came to know. But Mind Springs was clearly understaffed - evidence of that played out visibly during my time there - and it appeared to be mismanaged. I was not provided the type of assistance I needed, and consequently stopped going. Critically, l was never allowed to see a psychiatrist - nor was I given any sort of roadmap of the treatment process, or even an overview of the options that were available there - or elsewhere. Each visit seemed to be a random conversation that offered no clue as to its role in the big picture. I was left with a sense that the employees - as pleasant as they are - were just punching the clock and putting in their hours. And when I stopped going there, no one inquired as to the reason. I suspect the organization is more concerned with damage-control (to society) than with helping people to live healthy and satisfying lives. Another review here said, basically, "If you're not suicidal, they don't care about you". That was the feeling I was left with. Consequently, I would not recommend their services to anyone who has other options. Note: within a few hours of posting an earlier version of this review, someone from MS reached out to me for more detail. It was a pleasant conversation; she said she would pass along my concerns and suggestions, adding that someone else might reach out to me in order to assist in my situation. I'll revisit this review if that ever happens. Update: No one from Mind Springs ever reached out with assistance,. Regardless, I decided to give them another chance. I was finally permitted to see a psychiatrist (after a two month wait - again, they're understaffed). Yet, after another six months, I'm still not receiving any treatment or assistance.

  Very rude staff that seems to believe their clients are worthy of being ignored or talked down to. I highly recommend that anyone considering the Aspen Mindsprings facility reconsiders. I am incredibly appalled at the disrespect that has been shown to me both in person and over the phone. There is such a lack of care and respect that I am surprised that this Mindsprings location has not been terminated.

  have been waiting for MONTHS for SOMEONE, ANYONE to call me to make an appointment in Aspen, they lost my paperwork three times, and apparently still do not have it and i still cannot make an appointment. . no wonder the suicide rate in this valley is so high, no one can get any help before its far far too late .. thanks for NOTHING mindsprings

  Useless. I've been trying to have my NP get in touch with me for close to a week - I've email/phoned/spoken to someone who said they would take care of it. I'm still waiting.

  Very disappointed with the whole experience. Given the vulnerable state the someone could be in when seeking these services, I would have to recommend they go somewhere else. I felt like my time was wasted...
