Unfortunately, this practice has been a revolving door of psychiatrists and psychiatric nurse practitioners due to retirements, departures, and frequent staffing changes. The first two providers my child saw were outstanding. They listened, treated my child with respect, and communicated in a calm, professional manner. I have nothing but positive things to say about them. A few weeks ago, we met with Dr. Mustafa Pirzada, the owner of the practice, for the first time, and that appointment went well. However, my child's most recent appointment was with a newly hired psychiatric nurse practitioner. I was not present at that visit, as my child's mother attended instead. Based on what I was told afterward, I was immediately concerned that the provider seemed inexperienced. After the appointment, I looked up her professional license and learned that she had only recently become licensed. From my family's perspective, the provider quickly suggested psychiatric hospitalization, even though we did not believe our child was an immediate danger to herself or others. The recommendation felt premature and left us feeling unheard. The following day, I received a call informing me that an anonymous report had been made alleging that I was not administering my child's prescribed medication. Shortly afterward, deputies and a DCF investigator came to my home. I cannot know who made the report, but the timing led me to suspect it was connected to the appointment. The experience was extremely stressful for my family. When I later spoke with Child Protective Services, I was informed that they had spoken with my child, who confirmed that I administer the prescribed medication every night. From the beginning of treatment, I was fully cooperative with medication recommendations and had no hesitation about my child being prescribed medication when it was deemed appropriate. That made the allegation especially upsetting from my perspective. My advice to other parents is to look beyond whether a practice accepts your insurance. Continuity of care, provider experience, and open communication are just as important. While we had excellent experiences with our previous providers, our most recent experience left us deeply concerned and has caused us to lose confidence in this practice.

This center is great.. very accommodating, and easy to work with. Dr Heck is wonderful. She took me on from another practice, and just jumped right in. Very caring, understanding and compassionate. They also offer other treatments for various issues. Sprovato and TMS. Michael is amazing! Such a deep down genuine person. Very compassionate, and amazing at everything he does there. I'm very happy to find this practice.

The staff at this clinic are very caring, compassionate and communicate with each other very well so that my needs are met very well. Michael does my TMS and he is very kind, genuinely caring, knowledgeable, has a good heart, is easy to talk to, listens with compassion and understanding, and answers all my questions about insurance, different treatments, etc. Michael communicates with Dr. Victoria Heck and the pharmacy to make sure I get my meds when my pharmacy is falling short. I feel very safe with Michael, sharing with him about what’s in my heart and mind, and I truly appreciate how open he is with me as well. I treasure my time with him during TMS sessions. Dr. Victoria takes the time to listen to all my concerns, is very knowledgeable about different medications and their side effects, and adjusts my meds accordingly. She is kind, caring and also introduced me to taking magnesium, vitamins, fish oil etc which is helping me as well. Tiffany who did my TMS intake was very knowledgeable, kind, efficient and always followed up promptly when I called or emailed her with questions. I’m thankful that this clinic made sure my insurance is covering for my TMS. And they are only charging me the $20 co pay for each TMS session. Another clinic had quoted $2,500 or so out of pocket for TMS but with Lotus my TMS total is only $720 (36 sessions x $20 co pay). I am very blessed and am thankful to have found Lotus.

This practice is either unorganized or they don’t care?! They don’t respond, they don’t follow up. A simple call with what they can and can’t do would be nice, but they just don’t respond. When you’ve got a family member taking controlled medication and they are elderly, you would think they would at least respond to a concerned family member with something, anything. A phone call?! Nothing. There office manager Tiffany is rude, indifferent and sounds like she could care less especially with the immediate concerns I have shared with their receptionists. It’s a shame because Dr Perzada is very nice, but they don’t explain or respond to a durable power of attorney even if they can’t tell you anything, direction is s always a good start. I highly recommend doing research. Very disappointing and concerning honestly. Plus they prescribe a ton of meds. The best part are there responses. This has NOTHING TO DO WITH BEING RESPONSIVE in regards to a distraught family member.

I do not leave reviews as I am a private person and do not want my medical and personal information online, but my 6+ months of experience at Lotus was so incomprehensible I wanted to warn others. I had already seen the bad reviews before becoming a patient and chose to ignore them because they took my insurance and I was in a position where I needed psychiatric care and medication management. I should have listened and never stepped foot in the office. I first saw Victoria. From first appointment getting help when I needed was nearly impossible. If I had medication concerns or questions, she would never return a message and I would have to repeatedly contact the office just to get a response. When I did manage to speak to her it was her rushing me off the phone and inconveniencing her. After months of this, I finally decided I wasn't coming back. That's when I received a call and was offered an appointment with Dr. Mustafa, the owner and psychiatrist. I agreed reluctantly. My first appointment with him was great I thought. Before I left, I was asked to leave a Google review while he and staff stood over me and his response was he asks all patients to do this (clearly because the reviews are bad and accurate) Two weeks later, I came back during one of the most difficult periods of my life. I explained that my panic attacks had gotten significantly worse and that I wasn't sleeping. His response was I'm sorry this is happening and he refused to offer me any solution or adjust any medication or any alternatives but insisted I needed to be seen again in 2 weeks. I have never in my life experienced this from any medical provider and it was so concerning. The only positive of this place is Michael at the Front who was extremely caring and helpful during my time there. What says everything to me is that I am now going back to the psychiatrist I saw for years before this. She charges more than I can comfortably afford, and I am not in a financial position where spending that kind of money makes sense. Yet she called me back, worked with me on cost, and made me feel like a patient instead of an insurance claim. I would rather stretch myself financially than continue receiving care here. Please listen to all the reviews especially the concerning ones which are most because they are all very accurate.
