  I have been a patient of Dr. Akrong for 4 years now and when he recommended I try PrTMS I was a bit hesitant because of the commitment and length of treatment. However, my experience with the TMS technician was nothing short of wonderful. Alexis did an incredible job of explaining the process and making sure I was comfortable during each scan and treatment. I don’t think if I had another technician I would have enjoyed my time there. Alexis was truly kind, attentive and helpful. 10/10 would recommend. Thank you Alexis, Dr. Akrong and the rest of the Reverence Behavioral Health team.

  I recently finished 7 weeks of TMS. Initially, I was skeptical and unenthused about the whole process. But Alexis made my treatment something I actually looked forward to, thanks to her engaging personality and genuine care. What stands out most is how she recalls details from previous conversations and checks in on my overall well-being, not just my vitals. It's clear she's invested in her patients and truly enjoys her work. Staff like this are hard to find—and even harder to keep. Looking back, I'm glad I stuck with it—my sleep is better, my energy has improved, and it was honestly worth it.

  Akwetey and Alexis have made my son’s life, and mine better. Reverence behavioral provided my son with quality of life, changing TMS therapy. He used to live in a dark place. Akwetey was one of the first in the Chicagoland area to provide this process for my son. Because of my son’s success after the therapy, I spent the summer of 2026 doing TMS as well. Alexis was the point person for both my son and myself. She administered every session for him in 2024, and now for me in 2026. She made me feel welcome with a professional, kind, and straightforward approach. She made me feel calm about my apprehension regarding this new step. She’s a great listener, responsive to any questions or concerns. Through Akwetey and Alexis, our family has a clear view of navigating this life without the shadow of our own darkness looming.

  The customer service here is garbage. DO NOT rely on these people for your mental health. I recommend finding any other place besides this one. There are so many choices, and this place should absolutely be skipped over. They refused to fill an emergency prescription for my medicine after cutting it off, even after I set up an appointment to see one of their doctors. Even my pharmacist calling and telling them I need this medication, they seem perfectly happy to let me withdraw and suffer, even though it was their own clerical error that created this issue.

  I have heard such wonderful things about Akwetey but I just had a horrible time trying to get an office visit. I booked an appointment, blocked my calendar, and filled out the intake paperwork. I hit submit probably 14 times and they canceled my appointment because of not getting my paperwork. I tried to reinstate my appointment because they kept telling me they’re not receiving my paperwork and I tried about 15 times to complete it. A glitch in their system was not allowing the confirmation of submission after fifteen times and they could not let me have my appointment or even let me find an alternate way to send in the info by fax or scanning. Sometimes technology fails, to me it’s not a good reason to put patients through trying to push an online form 15 times and canceling their appointment. Does not seem like good business. In the end it made me want to find another provider to meet with. Such a shame because I’ve made so many referrals to this place based on my family’s experience.
