Throughout my experiences going to a few places for my mental health. This was by far the most unsatisfying experience I’ve had in a mental health facility. The only reason this gets a two star is because the front desk ladies and the staff that explains the forms were extremely nice. I went there today to get assessed for my mental health and when I met with the doctor that runs those, I was extremely unsatisfied with the way he preformed the assessment. Based on the reason of why I was there he said “we don’t really offer those kinds of services” which is fair, I was looking for more of a in depth evaluation. But I was still interested in what they had to offer so we kept going. He asked me “what are you struggling with” and i started explaining my mental health (ex: I struggle to focus on tasks, and I’m chronically tired, etc.) and he interrupts me and says “No! what do you struggle with as in daily needs” which made me feel disrespected especially being interrupted like I was supposed to know how to answer, like I’m the one asking these questions. Further down the line of questions he asked “so you say you think you might be suffering from something that isn’t your main diagnosis, what might that be”. I responded saying “I’m not completely sure to be honest, I feel like there’s a missing piece somewhere” in which he responds with “Well we have to know what you think you have or else we are going to go nowhere” I’m not a doctor nor do I understand all mental health illnesses under the sun. wouldn’t that be the exact reason to why I would want to see a “”expert”” to try and get it figured it out. Like sure I’ll throw a few guesses out there instead of you trying to figure it out based on your Expertise/Questions. The only time I’ve seen Mike happy during the whole hour i was with him, was when he walked me to the exit. I can’t tell you about the other parts of this place because honestly i don’t know, staff might be great and it might run great programs/resources. But what I can tell you is that I did not feel satisfied or validated during the assessment. He could of ran the assessment better or with a little more compassion/listening and I couldn’t get anything from it and still be satisfied. I felt like i wasted my time.

As I’m sitting here now ready to go to mirrors, I will say the counselors are fabulous! I am absolutely in love with mine and the only reason I stayed. Mind you I signed myself in I didn’t have to stay. But a handful of the staff!! Mannn they gotta go. Talk about only having a job for a paycheck. You HAVE to have some sympathy or compassion to work at this job.. my anxiety has been out the roof because of some of the staff. One altercation was when my roommate was coming down off some really hard drugs started freaking out and I couldn’t find a staff member for a minute… then when I went to answer my questions I stated I had very high anxiety and a little irratated and one of the staff members got irratated with me and put her hands up and walked away. Like I said counselors great. Your workers! 98% of them. Get new ones! Your rates will stay below 3.

They were supposed to help me get funding I reached out to my case manager, she told me an amount was agreed on for my meds not the full amount but atleast some help, and it was to be sent to me. I have been waiting since Friday, I proceeded to call my case manager several times, then her team lead, then their manager. I also tried to contact the damn integrity manager that keeps responding and they are just a voice mail also, and "I'll get back to you when it's most convenient to me.", just got a call from the quality and honesty manager, not much I can do except reach out and see if I can catch them. They can't do shift and are not helpful

I got a reply asking me “reach out” to them- I’ve been doing that for two months as guardian of my Autistic son…I’ve left messages, emails, phone calls- none answered. Case manager dropped him. As guardian I was told that legally I need a social worker on board. Don’t know why they dropped services because no communication- no replies- answering machines. I last emailed his old case manager asking HER to have her supervisor get in touch- crickets from all. I’ve tried probably 15 times! Disability Rights investigating now. One star is too much.
