Dr Mary Moore is great at what she does. She's a gift from God! I wish all doctors were like her!! I didn't know what to expect because she's nearing retirement age but that womanes on fire, quick as a whip.

It took nearly a decade to get all the information, so sadly a lawsuit is no longer an option. In 2017 my wife was a patient here and was told she tested positive for Chlamydia, and that I had "definitely" given it to her. No symptoms so it was clearly very recent, meaning I was cheating. They provided her with contact information for a divorce attorney. My wife was given antibiotics, which she took, and confronted me. She was already suspicious because the lab order did not mention Chlamydia and she was never given results for any of the metabolic tests she was supposed to get. I got immediately tested and showed that I was clean. What's more we got a second opinion the same day and my wife was also clean. We in turn confronted the nurse about these results. They refused to review the test and in retaliation attempted to have police remove us from the property - the doctor arrived in the meantime and stopped this from happening. The nurse still contacted CPS and said we were endangering our existing child and an unborn child by denying them medical care (this took eight months to clear). She also contacted every welfare agency in the state and said we were committing multiple forms of fraud with SNAP, section 8, and Medicaid benefits. Despite not being recipients of any of these benefits it took two years to get all these charges dismissed. Because the claims were ultimately determined to be false they named the person who made the report so we know it was a nurse and that they made the call from work. Years later we got a letter, dated 2017 but postmarked 2024. They knew the whole time it was an error. Those were never my wife's lab results. Everything we had been through was just malice covering up incompetence.

Student doctors don't seem to be provided with any trauma training. If you are a foster or adoptive parent do NOT use CMU pediatrics. Dr. Hanna in particular is extremely condescending and seems to have no consideration for the emotional wellbeing of our children. He also does not seem to be aware of the side effects on most medications, outright shaming our child and my partner for a weight problem caused directly by our child's trauma and mental health medications.

My children were nervous to go to their first visit with their new doctor but quickly adjusted to a more comfortable feeling with their new doctor and that was really great! Also it seems like our concerns are actually heard which is great!
