The therapist lied about accepting my secondary insurance policy while being in-network per my insurance company. We agreed if there was any issue with payment, I’d pay out of pocket. My credit card was on file and available because I would owe a specialist copay away after a benefits investigation. The therapist texted me declining the first visit due to insurance out of network with both policies. She didn’t accept self pay. Ridiculous

Dr wouldn't call in my script and knows I'm severely depressed. Alma's says I have a balance when I had no copays! I forgot my password and no links are sent. I have a $20 balance and there is no telephone number to call and no one answers your email support! I can't straighten out my bill if I can't get into my account! What kind of platform for mental health or Dr wouldn't refuse to send in a patients antidepressant over a $20 bill that they are having trouble paying because of Alma's computer problem? A horrible one and a horrible agency that doesn't care! Run don't go to these people they're terrible and the drs too! There are much better places to go. Run don't walk from alma

Nope! Never trust a company who won’t speak to you and will only correspond through their email platform. They have incorrectly billed me for co-pays and getting the issue resolved is like pulling teeth. I am so unhappy with their customer service that I will no longer be seeing my therapist. Additionally, I will ask future therapist who they use for billing. If they tell me they use Alma it’s going to be a hard pass. Incompetent fools!

Reply after I had trouble putting my insurance (via BlueCard) on their website; don't get me wrong, when Alma works, it's okay, but they have zero interest in helping providers retain clients: It's completely understandable to be frustrated with a system's limitations and to choose a platform that better fits your needs. We hear you, and we appreciate you letting us know. We're glad to hear that you've found a solution that works for you by using Headway to meet with your provider. Your feedback about the system's limitations is valuable, and we'll be sure to share it with our team as we work to improve our platform. If there's anything we can assist you with regarding your Alma account, please don't hesitate to reach out. We wish you the very best.

They'll deny your claims even after you're confirmed as in-network by your insurance company through COBRA continuation coverage. Please, for your own sake, look elsewhere.
