Awesome & Very Professional 👏... Valerie Augustus is very honest and good at her job. She is really good at her job. I recommend her 💯%.. She is honest and knows what she is doing. It’s really hard to find someone who takes the time and patience to understand and listen and she is very good. ➡️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⬅️ Five star rating for sure! If you need to find a doctor in this field look no further... and book an appointment. I transferred from another state so trust me she’s good. Thanks again have a good day!

I “saw” her as a child and I say “saw” because my Mom pretty much talked for me through each visit. I never felt like she really got was going on there. My mom was controlling the narrative and basically able to say that I was just a typical troubled teen… hmmm, I wonder why? We never explored that and I never was given the opportunity to be explain my side of things. I’ll admit at first I wanted my mom in the room but honestly I think it would’ve been incredibly beneficial if I would have had a place to discuss what was really going on at home. Wasn’t surprised to learn about the allegations. She seemed incredibly stern and unfeeling.

I had a to find a psychiatrist after moving to the Memphis area. The charges against her are BS - twisted. Dr. Augustus did not compare her patients to mules. One of her (very happy) patients quoted Psalm 32:9 in reference to himself/herself (read it in the Tennessean who wrote a very click bate title and obviously no details about the patient were revealed), and thanked Dr. Augustus by giving her a riding crop as a joke in reference to the verse for being the motivator that helped him/her achieve his/her goals. After receiving the gift, when other patients would self-admit to not following-through on their own goals, she would lightly touch some of them with crop while teasing them about the need to stay focused and work towards their goals. I can certainly see the board making her stop just to avoid the bad press that comes when lawmakers and people itching to sue twist a harmless reality into a grotesque, 90% fictional narrative, but I can attest she has been great and very professional.

I Have Been a Patient of Dr. Valerie Augustus Since 2010. She has been a life savior to me. Very Professional , she has not even shook my hand . I can’t imagine these charges against her. I ask you to please consider the patients that receive her wonderful care. I don’t want to think about a new Psychiatrist...⭐️💕⭐️
