Dr Amir Etesam is a gem of a doctor. I was so nervous going into his office but he eased my mind with his knowledgeable expertise along with his kindness and detailed explanation of my options for treatment and who I need to see. He has excellent bedside manners and genuinely cares. He took his time answering my questions. Not rushing like so many others. For my particular case he gave me three references to call so I can set up an appointment to go see a neuropsychiatrist instead. He left open the fact that I can always go back to his office. I wish I could have been treated by him. I have been to many different doctors throughout my life. By far he is the best. I can't thank him enough for such a positive experience. His team is pleasant, friendly and making an appointment was easy. Very professional. The office is clean and the environment is light and positive.

Office was clean and nicely decorated with soft music in the background. The receptionist was friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable. The doctor was very kind, attentive, and knowledgeable. He was a good listener and didn't make me feel rushed. He provided good explanations of medication, therapies, and on going process of treatment.

I had a truly positive experience during my recent visit to Bright Horizons Psychiatry. From the moment I walked in, the environment felt calm, welcoming, and supportive. The front desk staff were friendly, efficient, and made the check-in process smooth and stress-free. My session with the provider was excellent. They took the time to listen carefully, asked thoughtful questions, and created a safe space where I felt comfortable opening up. It was clear that they were not only knowledgeable but genuinely cared about my well-being and long-term progress. I’ve had multiple issues with this practice, especially with medication management. Several times, prescriptions discussed during my appointments were never sent in, including an essential medication for my sleep and anxiety. This weekend, I was left completely without it and I was left with no medication during an episode of heightened anxiety. When I called this morning to get help, the front desk staff repeatedly interrupted me and tried to direct me to the patient portal, even after I explained that the portal wasn’t working and I had already used the reset link they provided. It wasn’t until I became extremely upset and asked her to stop interrupting me that she finally took my refill request verbally. The lack of follow-through, difficulty communicating with staff, and repeated errors have made this a very frustrating and disappointing experience. Update: I spoke with the clinician manager, Shelly, and she was extremely kind and receptive. She took the time to listen to my concerns, acknowledged the issues, and provided clear solutions. I will now be seeing her for all future appointments and I’m hopeful working with her will turn around my experience.
