I had a great experience with TMS therapy. The staff is amazing, and Cassandra in particular is absolutely terrific—supportive, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring. The treatment itself was completely pain-free, covered by my insurance, and only took about 30 minutes a day, which I often used as quiet time to meditate. The therapy significantly lessened my issues with rumination, helped me regulate my emotions better, and noticeably decreased my depression. I’m really grateful for the care I received and highly recommend this practice. Thank you TMS of Austin!

I had a great experience with TMS of Austin, Kassandra and Dr. Aragon. This treatment helped pull me out of treatment resistant depression and lifted my every day mood. I noticed my anxiety stabilized from being severe and every day to more under control and manageable, but not completely gone. This has been one of the more successful treatments I have received in the years I’ve tried therapy and medication. I’m hopeful that with this treatment and continuing my meds I will continue to feel better. I also appreciated that they follow up for months after and offer touch ups when needed.

I just cannot say enough good about TMS of Austin - the therapy itself, or the care providers. I have suffered with lifelong chronic and acute depression, chronic and acute anxiety and crippling insomnia due to early childhood trauma. My problems had been reasonably controlled thanks to medication and counseling for over 2 decades, but last year I experienced a trauma induced setback that was crippling. I literally couldn’t get out of bed, and was once again plagued with suicidal ideations. Both my psychiatrist and my psychologist had since retired and the thought of starting over with new doctors literally seemed impossible. I went online to research options. Thank God I ran across TMS of Austin! I gave it a try because the website said it had a 70% efficacy rate. Dr Ramon Aragon, the psychiatrist, was extremely caring and very informative about one of the few forms of therapy I had not already tried in the past. The only drawback to TMS for me was the time commitment-daily treatments Monday through Friday, tapering off in 1.5-2 months. But I gave it a try and the results were NOTHING SHORT OF MIRACULOUS! In about two weeks, I started to feel NOTICEABLY better every, single day! By the time I completed the regimen, I was at peak performance, enthusiastically re-engaged with both work and relationships! It was the most amazingly effective thing I have ever experienced. And the staff is top-notch. When I first started, I didn’t even want to make eye contact with anyone much less small talk. Oscar, who mans the front desk, and Kassandra, my therapy coordinator, were both extremely sensitive to that fact, waiting for me to be able to engage. They are both highly professional while still being warm and caring. And Andrew, the board certified physician’s assistant who now helps me manage my meds, is just a delight - easy to talk to and very knowledgeable. If you battle with depression, give TMS of Austin a try - I think you will be amazed with the results.

TMS of Austin is worth it. From the beginning, the process is clearly explained, and the staff is patient, friendly, and genuinely interested in the well being of their patients. For example, I have a tendency to talk about how other people are doing when asked about myself. Kassandra gently reminded me that she asked about me. Believe it or not that made a huge difference. The procedure; it's not a miracle cure. It's not supposed to be. What it did for me, though, was this: I went from experiencing major depression that made me feel like I was constantly underwater, hopeless, and extremely negative about myself and life...to not only wanting to be happier, but understanding that I can be and recognizing what I can do to make it happen. In other words, it has given me the ability to see the tools I can use to improve my life, and I now have the motivation to use them ( the tools). I truly appreciate TMS Austin for helping me achieve this shift. Thank you!

The staff are warm and kind. They make you feel at ease in a strange situation. My brain began craving the TMS experience, so I looked forward to it, and I’m doing better than before, so I’d say it worked for me!
